Calling All Grade 11 - 'Class of 2018 Parents' - Please Consider Paying it Forward and Volunteer at Graduation 2017!
It is that time of year once again and School Council members respectfully request that you please considering paying it forward and volunteer to help out at this year's Graduation 2017 event. Next year will be your student's big year so please consider helping out and making this year's event a night to remember for the 'Class of 2017' by lending some of your time.
We need your help - details are available by clicking here. Thank you in advance for giving of yourself. It takes a village and Prince Edward County stands behind its grads! We look forward to celebrating all of the achievements of our graduates at Graduation 2017 on the evening of June 29th.
Two teams of PECI programmers took part in a board-wide computer programming contest requiring them to program a computer to solve a series of challenging tasks. At the end of the competition our grade 12 team, consisting of Iain Cameron, Ryan Haskin, and Jake Sullivan had captured 2nd place overall, and the grade 11 team of Nolan Belnap, Wyatt Gilbert, Hannah Hungerford, and Patrik Kelemen placed 3rd. As a result of these finishes the teams have been invited to move on to represent our school board at an Eastern Ontario Regional Contest to be held at Queen's University at the end of April.
Thank you to coach Mr. Kulenkamp for your support and leadership in organizing this event for the District! It is great to see our students excelling in critical & creative thinking. #HPECompetencies #PantherPride
