The Violence Awareness and Random Acts of Kindness (VARAK) Program began in 1997 in remembrance of Mark Fyke and in recognition of all victims of violence, especially Becky Middleton and Shawn Keegan. With the help of many, our program has expanded to the communities of Quinte West, Prince Edward County and Stittsville. During our kindness week we promote an awareness of the prevalence of violence in our society and how to counteract the negative effects from it.
PECI is proud to recognize Brooke Hudgin as our Random Acts of Kindness nomination for 2016. #PantherPride #KindnessIsContagious

Calling all students and parents - we need your help. We have several students and staff who have significant allergies to scents which have led to allergic reactions involving EMS services. We respectfully ask that no scent applicant occur at school in the hallways. When applying scents before school, please follow the 'less is more' rule in order to ensure that all students and staff can be safe at school. Please contact administration if you have questions.
