The 2015-16 Prince Edward Collegiate Instritute Course Calendar is now available for refernce online.  Please take an opportunity to review the exciting opportunities that we have in store for the coming school year.  Course selections for next year will be made in the coming weeks so be sure to think about your plans for the future, do some research and investigating and be prepared to make a good choice.  Drop by Guidance to visit with any member of the team if you have questions; we are here to help.

Prince Edward Collegiate Institute Exams and Final Written Culminating Activities will be written as follows:

  • Pd. 1 - Wed. Jan. 21st Beginning at 12:00 p.m. with shortened classes for Pd. 2, 4 and 5 in the morning
  • Pd. 2 - Thurs. Jan. 22nd Beginning at 8:30 a.m.
  • Pd. 4 - Fri. Jan. 23rd Beginning at 8:30 a.m.
  • Pd. 5 - Mon. Jan. 26th Beginning at 8:30 a.m.

Calling all engaged parents who want to be difference makers!  Our next School Council Meeting is Tuesday February 10th from 6:30-7:30 p.m.  New members are always welcome.  Please come out and learn about all of the exciting opportunities that exist in your community school.  Let's embrace the festive season together!

The Drama Department at PECI is proud to present an original production "Rudolph- Behind The Red Nose".  This Christmas comedy is certain to engage all audiences and we look forward to you joining us here at Prince Edward Collegiate Institute as we embrace the Christmas Season together.

Performance Dates:  

December 12th and 13th - Curtains open at 7:00 p.m.

December 14th  Matinee - Curtains open at 1:00 p.m.

Tickets are $5.00 and available at Books and Company as well as at the door. 

The staff and students of Prince Edward Collegiate Institute offer our respects to Cpl. Nathan Cirillo's family.  Thank you to all of our troops who dedicate their today for our tomorrow.

The PECI Relay for Life total is $22,386 for this year! That brings our yearly fundraising total to $36,391! This was a team effort and we can be proud to know that over the past 3 years our staff and students have eclipsed the $120,000 mark for charities in our community and around the world.

​During the month of May, four Entrepreneurship students hits the streets in Prince Edward County to raise funds for the first ever Persistent Panther Bursary. Local businesses donated to support two students who embodies the character that best represents Prince Edward Collegiate Institute in our community.
