PECI is committed to supporting Students and Families with the Provincial mandate to eliminate cell phone use during learning times.
All students at PECI will need to keep cell phones outside of all learning spaces during the school day.
Should an emergency arise and you need to contact your Student, please contact the office and we will arrange a way for you to connect.
Students in Grades 1 to 8 are not to have cell phones at school, but if they do, they are to be kept in their locker during the entirety of the school day.
Students in Grades 9 to 12 are to keep cell phones in their lockers or at home during all instructional time. They may use it during breaks and lunch. During instructional time, phones cannot be used in the hallway. If an emergency arises with a student, they may ask Administration to support with next steps.
