Life @ PECI

Welcome to Prince Edward Collegiate Institute (PECI), your local vibrant Kindergarten to Grade 12 school where students of all ages learn, grow, and thrive together. Our school offers a dynamic student experience, with opportunities for leadership through Student Council (both elementary and secondary), which organizes fundraisers and school dances. Elementary athletics begin in Grade 4, with teams for volleyball, basketball, and soccer, while secondary students (Grades 9-12) can participate in a wide range of sports, including boys’ and girls’ rugby, basketball, volleyball, soccer, badminton, cross country, and track and field.  In secondary there is also the Athletic Council that supports Intramurals, Buy-In's and other school spirit events.

The arts are a cornerstone of PECI’s culture, with elementary students engaging in plays, choir and "Battle of the Bands", and secondary students benefit from a robust arts program that showcases visual art, school play productions, and improv clubs. For those interested in fitness, we offer a non-competitive weight room club, along with a variety of student-led clubs and activities based on interests.

At PECI, there is something for everyone, and we are committed to fostering a welcoming and engaging school community where all students can explore their passions and find success!
